Privacy
Prewatch is an app for learning the words of podcasts, videos and articles you choose, made by Proairos Pte. Ltd. (“we”). This notice explains what Prewatch keeps on your device, what reaches our service when you choose to sign in, and how to delete it.
Without an account
Prewatch works without an account. What you import, its transcript, your words and your reviews stay on your device. Transcription and word analysis run on your device. Meanings come from a dictionary inside the app and from Apple’s on-device models, which Apple may run through its Private Cloud Compute under Apple’s privacy policy. Nothing about your library reaches our service until you sign in.
Your account
You can sign in with Apple, with Google, or with a code we email you. We then keep:
- your email address (with Sign in with Apple this can be a private relay address Apple gives us);
- the name you give us or that Apple or Google shares when you first sign in, and your Google profile picture’s address, which your friends see;
- the identifier Apple or Google gives your account for Prewatch, and, for Sign in with Apple, a token we use only to revoke Prewatch’s access when you delete your account;
- your sign-in sessions: a random token kept in your device’s Keychain and on our service. We don’t store your IP address with them.
Sign-in codes are sent from signin@prewatch.org through Cloudflare’s email service, kept only as a hash, and expire after 10 minutes.
Sync
When you’re signed in, Prewatch keeps a copy of your library on our service so it reaches your other devices: the sources you imported (their titles, links and text, such as transcripts and articles), your words and how well you know them, your review cards and your review history. Audio and video files stay on the device you imported them on. Your library is stored apart from everyone else’s, and only you can read it; it is never shown to your friends.
Friends
If you add friends, they see your profile (name and picture) and what you choose to share in Settings: the titles, artwork and progress of what you’re learning, and, if you turn them on, how many words you’ve learned and the films and episodes you’ve watched on Trakt. Friends never see your transcripts or the text of your articles. We keep your friendships, friend requests, your invite link (it expires after 7 days) and the list you share, to show them to your friends.
If you link Trakt, Prewatch talks to Trakt from your device and keeps Trakt’s token on your device. Trakt handles that data under its own privacy policy.
What we don’t do
- No advertising, and no tracking across other companies’ apps or websites.
- We don’t sell or rent your data, and we don’t use it to train AI models.
- No analytics SDKs in the app; our service keeps no request logs.
Service providers
Our service runs on Cloudflare, which hosts it, stores your account and library (account data in the Asia-Pacific region) and delivers sign-in emails, under Cloudflare’s privacy policy. Apple and Google handle their sign-ins under Apple’s and Google’s privacy policies. To prevent abuse, the service counts requests for one minute at a time, keyed by a one-way hash of the network address, the email address or the account, never the address itself.
Keeping and deleting
We keep your account and synced data while you have an account. To delete everything we hold, open Settings › Account › Delete Account in the app: your account, sessions, sign-ins, synced library, friendships, requests, invite and shared list are deleted at once, and Prewatch’s access to your Apple ID is revoked. Signing out or deleting your account leaves the library on your device, which you can remove by deleting the app. You can also ask us by email to access, correct or delete your data.
Children
Prewatch isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly create accounts for them. If you believe a child has an account, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Prewatch 是 Proairos Pte. Ltd.（“我们”）开发的一款 App，帮你学会自己选择的播客、视频和文章里的单词。本政策说明 Prewatch 在你的设备上保存什么、你选择登录后哪些数据会到达我们的服务，以及如何删除。
不登录时
Prewatch 不登录也能使用。你导入的内容、文字稿、单词和复习记录都只保存在你的设备上。转写和分词在设备上完成。释义来自 App 内置的词典和 Apple 的设备端模型，Apple 可能通过其私有云计算（Private Cloud Compute）运行这些模型，适用 Apple 的隐私政策。在你登录之前，你的资料库不会有任何内容到达我们的服务。
你的账户
你可以用 Apple、Google 或我们发到你邮箱的验证码登录。登录后我们会保存：
- 你的邮箱地址（使用“通过 Apple 登录”时，可能是 Apple 提供给我们的隐藏中转地址）；
- 你填写的名字，或你首次登录时 Apple、Google 提供的名字，以及 Google 头像的地址，你的好友能看到它们；
- Apple 或 Google 为你的 Prewatch 账户提供的标识；使用“通过 Apple 登录”时，还有一个令牌，仅用于在你删除账户时撤销 Prewatch 的访问权限；
- 你的登录会话：一个随机令牌，保存在你设备的钥匙串和我们的服务中。我们不随会话保存你的 IP 地址。
登录验证码通过 Cloudflare 的邮件服务从 signin@prewatch.org 发出，我们只保存其哈希值，10 分钟后失效。
同步
登录后，Prewatch 会在我们的服务中保存一份你的资料库副本，以便同步到你的其他设备：你导入的内容（标题、链接和文字，例如文字稿和文章）、你的单词及熟悉程度、复习卡片和复习记录。音频和视频文件只保留在导入它们的设备上。你的资料库与其他人的分开存放，只有你能读取，绝不会展示给你的好友。
好友
添加好友后，好友能看到你的资料（名字和头像），以及你在设置中选择分享的内容：正在学习的内容的标题、封面和进度；如果你开启，还包括已学会的单词数和你在 Trakt 上看过的电影和剧集。好友永远看不到你的文字稿或文章内容。我们保存你的好友关系、好友请求、邀请链接（7 天后失效）和你分享的列表，以便展示给你的好友。
如果你绑定 Trakt，Prewatch 在你的设备上与 Trakt 通信，Trakt 的令牌也只保存在你的设备上。Trakt 按其隐私政策处理相关数据。
我们不做的事
- 没有广告，不跨其他公司的 App 或网站追踪你。
- 我们不出售或出租你的数据，也不用它训练 AI 模型。
- App 中没有分析 SDK；我们的服务不保留请求日志。
服务提供方
我们的服务运行在 Cloudflare 上，由它托管服务、存储你的账户和资料库（账户数据位于亚太区域）并发送登录邮件，适用 Cloudflare 的隐私政策。Apple 和 Google 按 Apple 和 Google 的隐私政策处理各自的登录。为防止滥用，服务会按分钟统计请求次数，计数依据是网络地址、邮箱地址或账户的单向哈希值，而不是这些地址本身。
保存与删除
在你拥有账户期间，我们保存你的账户和同步数据。要删除我们保存的所有数据，请在 App 中打开“设置 › 账户 › 删除账户”：你的账户、会话、登录方式、同步的资料库、好友关系、好友请求、邀请链接和分享列表会立即删除，Prewatch 对你 Apple ID 的访问权限也会被撤销。退出登录或删除账户后，资料库仍保留在你的设备上，删除 App 即可移除。你也可以发邮件要求我们查阅、更正或删除你的数据。
儿童
Prewatch 不面向 13 岁以下的儿童，我们不会有意为其创建账户。如果你认为有儿童拥有账户，请联系我们，我们会将其删除。
变更与联系
当 Prewatch 处理数据的方式发生变化时，我们会更新本页并修改上方日期。问题和请求请发送至 leto@proairos.com。
